Local Three started in 2012 as a collaboration between the owners of Smyrna based Muss & Turner's Restaurant and at the time downtown chef Chris Hall. The dark wooded interior with a sophisticated ambiance that seems to straddle a motif of country barn meets vintage ski chalet. Be impressed by the relaxed atmosphere captured appropriately by one of several slogans used by it's owners, such as 'fois gras in flip flops' and 'sit deep and stay long'. The menu boasts of inventive regional riffs on Southern staples. Some of the notables for dinner include
an appetizers selection of elk ribs, braised rabbit over gnocci to name a few. While their entrée selection is ever changing to include such items as roasted venison, duck leg, locally caught trout and more.
