Dedicated towards the use of locally sourced ingredients with simple, yet focused hearth cooking of succulent meats and fish prepared in view of the cozily arranged dining room. Outside patio seating along the edge of Peachtree St. with a grey canvassed décor provides comfortable elegance for either a pleasant day's lunch or cool evening supper. The restaurant's name pays homage to two minor characters from a classic Mark Twain novel. Both the King and the Duke attempt a cunning deceit of the townspeople while going about their transient ways of
travel. Owner/chef, Ford Fry also alludes to pulling off a lighthearted deception of his own expecting that diners might perceive the restaurant as formal due to its name and location but may be pleasantly surprised to discover an atmosphere of casual comfort instead.
