Movie Releases for Friday 09/14

Opening in theaters tomorrow is a strong lineup of new movies to either further engross oneself in the sequel titles that are releasing including Resident Evil: Retribution, Finding Nemo 3D or the list of 5 other originals that may offer hours of enjoyment at your local box office. The sci-fi thriller that is on it's fifth in the series that first began with the 2002 original Resident Evil with main characters Alice, played by Milla Jovovich and Rain, played by Michelle Rodriquez return in full form with a cast of other characters which has changed over the last subsequent releases. The action entails edge of your seat computer graphic battle plots of the actresses and supporting male heroes who wage an ongoing fight against the species of mutants who had originally been transformed by the deadly strain of disease from a laboratory at the Umbrella Corporation. As has occurred in the previous four Resident Evils, including Resident Evil: Apocalypse(2004), Resident Evil: Extinction(2007), Afterlife(2010) and now Retribution(2012), the struggle to restrain the malicious effects of the company and keep the inflicted zombies at bay while preventing the larger contamination of the world threatening biomedical mishap, it should deliver a edge of your seat experience for triumph over catastrophe. Absent from the last three releases but returning to this film is Michelle Rodriquez as Rain Ocampo. Rodriquez first got attention as the lead character in the 2000 film Girl Fight that documents her struggle to gain respect and a way out of the Harlem projects as a young female boxer. Her other roles have included Fast and the Furious, Avatar, the TV show Lost and others. The new release will be shown in 3D as was it's prequel Afterlife.
